  • Python training at GNDEC, Ludhiana

    Sabudh is conducting a training program for the students of Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana.The students are being taught machine learning, python, APIs, VCS among other things. They will develop real projects simultaneously with the trainers so as to learn by building real applications. There are also students from Atal Bihari Vajpayee Govt Institute of Engineering & Technology, Shimla attending the training.

  • Sabudh signs MoU with Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh

    We’re happy to announce that Dr . Sarabjot Singh, Director, Sabudh Foundation and Prof. Uma Batra, Director, Punjab Engineering College (PEC), Chandigarh signed an MoU on 22nd January 2019 with the primary aim to collaborate in the establishment of the Sabudh Data Science for Social Good Center.

    This center will train students in advanced technologies and create momentum in research, both applied and fundamental, that has the potential of addressing social problems in the region.

  • Dr. Sarabjot Singh was invited to speak at Agri vision 2019

    Dr. Sarabjot Singh was invited to speak at Agri vision 2019, a conference on envisioning agro solutions for smart and sustainable agriculture.
    He spoke about agricultural innovations and successful field implementable technologies.

    The two-day conference was jointly organized by Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University (PJTSAU), Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and Cornell University USA.

    Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand had a pleasurable time meeting with the faculty at Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana. He was invited to speak at their faculty development training program. He talked about “The Use of Hidden Variables in Machine Learning.”

  • Sabudh Foundation signed MoU with Punjabi University, Patiala

    Sabudh Foundation signed MoU with Punjabi University, Patiala on 18th December 2018 with the primary aim to collaborate in the establishment of the Sabudh Data Science for Social Good Center at Mohali. This center will train students in advanced technologies and create momentum in research, both applied and fundamental, that has the potential of addressing social problems in the region.

    This MoU will bring the best academic and industry content for educating local talent in advanced technologies, conduct workshops and training courses for students and academics, ideate projects of Social Impact with Government agencies and Society, execute on projects with social impact with students, academics and industry mentors, raise awareness of the impact these technologies will have on society, and support social entrepreneurship amongst students.

  • 1st prize at Data Innovation Bazaar

    Mr. Sukhmeet Singh, co-founder of A2P Energy Solution and director at Sabudh Foundation , Ms Niharika Arora, Associate Data Scientist at Sabudh along with the Sabudh fellows won the first prize at Startup India (a govt of India initiative) – Data Innovation Bazaar held at Nehru Memorial Museum and Library new Delhi on 12th dec’18.
    Data Innovation Bazaar provides a grand platform for young innovators to contribute towards solving key issues of national importance, by leveraging the power of data.

    Out of a total of 522 teams, the Sabudh team grabbed the first position winning INR 10 lakhs by proposing a solution to use data analytics to help A2P energy in scaling bioenergy plants and optimizing their processes.

  • Sabudh Foundation and Traffic Police Punjab signed an MoU

    Mr. Sharad Satya Chauhan, IPS, ADGP (Traffic) met with Mr. Sukhmeet Singh of the Sabudh Foundation to seek scientific solutions to issues of road safety & traffic management/control.

    A MoU was signed to promote cooperation through programmes and joint activities between the two organizations in the areas of social impact, data mining, use of Artifical Intelligence, Machine Learning and other intelligent solutions. It is expected that this partnership will lead to more efficient and intelligent policing of our roads.

    We gladly announce that Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana (GNDEC), the oldest Engineering College of Punjab and Sabudh Foundation, Chandigarh, a non-profit organization for using Artificial Intelligence and data science for social good have today signed Memorandum of Understating (MOU).The purpose of MOU is to collaborate and train students for academic and research in the area of data science, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies. This cooperation will prepare students in advanced technologies and create a momentum in research, both applied and fundamental, that has the potential of addressing social problems in Punjab. The MOU has been signed by Dr. Sehijpal Singh, Principal GNDEC, Ludhiana and Dr. Sarabjot Singh, Director Sabudh Foundation, Chandigarh.

    IN THE NEWS: Panjab University (PU) signs a MoU with Sabudh Foundation for setting up Centre for Data Science for Social Good.
    The MoU will benefit students in internships while addressing social problems in the region.

  • Session with Mr. Navdeep Asija, Traffic Advisor, Government of Punjab

    Mr. Navdeep Asija in his session with the Sabudh interns spoke about how using data had helped him make decisions that were not only massively cost-effective but also helped in saving many lives. He shared examples of how using data had helped him in diagnosing the problems effectively and innovating simple solutions. He expressed how various aspects are interlinked and can be uncovered using data. This makes knowledge of data imperative for an effective governance and progression of the state. He further encouraged students to develop a rational thinking instead of relying on intuitions and take it up as their social responsibility to use their knowledge and skills to do good to the society. He further emphasized to take inspiration from the leaders of the nation who had dreamt of making and developing India on scientific principles.
