He has a strong technical background and his areas of interest include Deep Learning, Big Data Analytics, IoT and Automotive Solutions. He has more than twenty years of experience in solutions involving Visual Computing, AI and High Performance Computing. He also has exposure to the work cultures of multiple countries in the Asia Pacific region.
Prof. Bhiksha Raj (3rd April 2021, 9 AM)
Dr. Bhiksha is a Professor at Carnegie Mellon University. He received the Ph.D. degree in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA, USA, in 2000. He is a Professor of the Computer Science Department, Carnegie Mellon University, where he leads the Machine Learning for Signal Processing Group.
He joined the Carnegie Mellon faculty in 2009, after spending time at the Compaq Cambridge Research Labs and Mitsubishi Electric Research Labs. He has devoted his career to developing speech-and-audio-processing technology. He has had several seminal contributions in the areas of robust speech recognition, audio content analysis and signal enhancement, and has pioneered the area of privacy-preserving speech processing. He is also the Chief Architect of the popular Sphinx-4 speech-recognition system.

Dr. Harjinder Singh Lallie (22nd March 2021, 2:30 PM)
Dr. Harjinder Singh Lallie is an Associate Professor at the University of Warwick and a visiting lecturer/project supervisor at the University of Oxford. Dr. Harjinder holds a Ph.D. in cybersecurity, an M.Phil, an M.Sc., and a B.Sc. He has more than twenty years of teaching experience and currently leads the M.Sc. Cyber Security and Management Degree, teaches three modules on the program degree at Warwick.
Dr. Harjinder’s research focuses on the area of complex attack modelling and and the use of AI in digital forensics. He has published numerous research papers in the world’s top cybersecurity journals and completes reviews for Elsevier’s Computers and Security and IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security. Dr. Harjinder has held numerous conference committee memberships, he acts as an external examiner, and has conducted a number of national and international institutional reviews. He is accepting Ph.D. students in the areas of digital forensics and cybersecurity.
