Mr. Navdeep Asija in his session with the Sabudh interns spoke about how using data had helped him make decisions that were not only massively cost-effective but also helped in saving many lives. He shared examples of how using data had helped him in diagnosing the problems effectively and innovating simple solutions. He expressed how various aspects are interlinked and can be uncovered using data. This makes knowledge of data imperative for an effective governance and progression of the state. He further encouraged students to develop a rational thinking instead of relying on intuitions and take it up as their social responsibility to use their knowledge and skills to do good to the society. He further emphasized to take inspiration from the leaders of the nation who had dreamt of making and developing India on scientific principles.
