Sabudh Foundation was founded by Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand in 2018 along with Dr. Sukhjit Singh Sehra. At Sabudh, we equip students with the skills and tools necessary to leverage Government and NGO data, fostering tangible and impactful change within society.

Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand

Co-Founder and Head of Academics, Sabudh Foundation & Co-Founder, Tatras Data.

Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand is a Data Geek. He has been involved in the field of Machine Learning since the early 1990s and has derived immense pleasure in developing algorithms, applying them to real-world problems. He has also trained a host of data analysts in the capacity of being an academic and data analytics consultant.

Dr. Sukhjit Singh Sehra

Co-founder, Sabudh Foundation & Assistant Professor at Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada.

He is an expert in the areas of spatial data analysis and knowledge discovery in large complex databases. In particular, his areas of expertise comprise of Geographical Analysis, Text Analysis, Machine Learning, Social Network Analysis, and Data Visualization. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering with a Prestigious Institute of North Region, Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College, Ludhiana, Punjab. He is actively involved in the usability and application of technology to solve social issues of Punjab.

Creating a crime map to identify the prime concern area based on crowdsourcing, using social network analysis to help better town planning, etc.

Learning by Doing Social Good

A well-planned and uniquely assessed curriculum is designed to bring the best of Data Science, ML, AIoT and programming languages to the learners in a very innovative and practical manner.

Collaborative Teaching

Our curriculum includes the right mix of lectures and hands-on exercises, along with passion projects and mentoring. Guest lectures by visiting faculty and industry experts are facilitated on a regular basis and learner-facilitator collaborations are encouraged. Engaging with collaborative partners that support its efforts in research, teaching, and exchange programs.

Research & Innovation

Research and innovation drive every aspect of Sabudh. Learners of all academic levels are encouraged to undertake research and creative endeavors in collaboration with facilitators. These projects encourage free-thinking and help in evolving data solutions to address some of the key challenges experienced by our communities.
