Dr. Anand has spent three decades at the cutting edge of machine learning since the 1990s. As an academic, consultant, and mentor, he’s trained generations of data scientists and deployed ML systems across industries. He co-founded Sabudh to bring rigor and responsibility back into the field, and to nurture students who care as much about ethics as they do about accuracy.

A leading researcher in spatial analytics and complex data systems, Dr. Sehra’s work explores how technology can solve deep-rooted problems in society. He has applied ML and visualization to everything from public health data to urban planning. At Sabudh, he champions the use of data science for grassroots problem-solving.
Who we are
Sabudh Foundation is a research-driven skilling initiative launched in 2018 by Dr. Sarabjot Singh Anand and Dr. Sukhjit Singh Sehra.
In an age where algorithms shape everything from medicine to governance, we saw a widening gap forming between technical knowledge and social responsibility. Sabudh exists to bridge that gap, by equipping the next generation of technologists with the vision to solve problems that matter.

Our Mission
To democratize access to cutting-edge education in Emerging technologies, so that background never outweighs potential. We provide fully-funded, internships that blend expert mentorship with project-based learning.
Our students work at the intersection of code and community. Every student creates meaningful work, receives dedicated guidance, and graduates with more than just a certificate. We seed a new kind of technologist: skilled, ethical, collaborative, and fiercely committed to solving real-world problems.
What We Do
We Train
6-month intensive programs in Data Science, Data Analytics and AIoT. Each cohort is mentored by leading academics and industry experts, with a curriculum built from the ground up.
We Educate
Our custom platform, Educollab, powers the Sabudh learning journey. It’s where students join live sessions, submit assignments, get feedback, track progress, and collaborate with their mentors.
We Build
At Sabudh, every intern joins a Passion Project team tackling real, urgent social issues. These projects go beyond theory, applying tech skills to create impactful, community-driven solutions. It’s where learning meets purpose.

Learning by Doing
We replace passive lectures with active problem-solving. Students build from Day 1, because you can’t think your way into real impact. You have to try. You will fail. And you will adapt. Then, build again.

From deep learning models to sensor design, we treat every cohort like a lab. Students are encouraged to pursue independent research and develop original contributions.
