Manas Gaur is a Ph.D. Student and Graduate Researcher in the Artificial Intelligence Insitute at the University of South Carolina. His interdisciplinary research with Dr. Amit P. Sheth, funded by NIH and NSF utilizes artificial intelligence, inferential statistics and empirical analysis, natural language processing, and knowledge graphs for healthcare and social informatics. His research builds knowledge-infused AI applications to support explainable reasoning from mental health professionals and policymakers. He has taught courses on Artificial Intelligence, Systems Programming, and Data Mining at Delhi Technological University and State University of New York at Albany. He also mentors graduate students leading to successful publications in premier conferences in AI and Data Science.
